Moonrise Kingdom Marketing

Project Description

Design Problem: To create multiple advertising components for the movie, Moonrise Kingdom directed by Wes Anderson. The first component is a movie poster and the second is a website layout for the movie.

Design Process: I began by compiling imagery from the film as well as images that would be combined to create the movie poster. I used Photoshop tools to create the movie poster. I then used elements from the poster to start a landing page for the website. I used Illustrator to create the layout for the landing page and 2 additional pages describing the movie.

Design Solution: In all of my designs I used photoshopped images of characters from the website to call back to the quirky theme of the movie. My poster design and web design tie together with a similar color palette, typography, and imagery.
